. Zenith Law Advisors operates as a "virtual law firm" in that all of our attorneys work out of personal or home offices instead of a centralized office. Our attorneys are highly networked and collaborate closely, sharing resources and legal expertise. This model allows our clients to benefit from the extensive experience of all of our attorneys without paying for the overhead that comes from maintaining a brick and mortar infrastructure and extensive support staff. We have lower overall operating expenses and can pass the savings on to our clients. Our business model facilitates the delivery of practical, high quality, business-focused legal representation in a cost-effective manner.
The core competencies of our attorneys enable us to provide a broad spectrum of corporate legal representation that covers a majority of most emerging companies’ corporate legal needs. For areas outside our core competencies, we will work with our clients to engage appropriate specialists in areas such as litigation, patent prosecution and maintenance and other highly specialized practice areas. Our attorneys’ experience in serving as general counsels of technology companies enables us to help our clients identify the legal specialists that can best meet their needs and maximize the cost-effectiveness of legal services provided by specialist firms.
Value to Clients. We seek to provide greater value to clients by providing strategic, business-focused legal services at a reasonable cost that is significantly lower than large law firms, enabling our clients to benefit from the legal expertise of veteran practitioners with many years of law firm and general counsel experience on a cost –effective basis. Elements of our value proposition include --
- Lower hourly rates. Our billing rates are approximately 40 to 50% lower than large-firm billing rates in the Silicon Valley area. For example, our current billing rate for a partner with over 20 years’ experience, including 12 years as a partner in a leading Silicon Valley law firm, is comparable to that of a third-year associate at major Silicon Valley firms.
- Special billing arrangements. We understand that many clients do not favor the traditional, hourly-based billing approach. We will work with clients on special billing arrangements. These arrangements may include project-based billing, where an agreed upon fee is established for completion of a particular project, or monthly or other time-based retainers for outsourced general counsel or similar services. We are open to other types of arrangements as well, and pride ourselves on our flexibility in working with clients to meet their legal services needs within their budgetary and financial parameters.
